A Horse, Of Course

P1030518

As I drove by Kent’s Landing the thing caught my eye

It looked like an animal ready to fly;

I pondered and stared and said “O My gosh,

I think I’ve discovered a horse in the maash.”

  1. it’s probably a stranded “marsh horse” larger and distant cousin of the “sea horse”. The marsh horse has been thought to be extinct for millions of years. But perhaps not 😉

  2. I drive by this driftwood twice a day… Living next to marshals farm stand… And I noticed the the house on the corner (the red one) was recently sold.. And that driftwood object was semi in the road / in the driveway of the house for a long time.. And then someone threw it into the marsh a few months ago…. I have had the thought to bring it home … But I enjoy driving by it and saying hello to the dragon driftwood. ~yup I am legit crazy

  3. Me and this driftwood have known each other for almost a year. I drive by the dragon wood twice a day and I enjoy saying hello to it in the marsh… As I drive by. The dragon wood wasn’t always in the marsh! I noticed it about a year ago in the side of the road/half in a driveway of a home for sale. A part of me wanted to pull over and bring it home… But I just left it. I have noticed since the red house in the corner has sold & they stayed to clean up the outside (a few months ago) that the driftwood dragon was thrown into the marsh, and that makes me happy… Other people can say hello to the dragon and it is being noticed 🙂 ~sincerely the craziest person you’ll ever talk to… In a great way~~~ stay curious amigos !!
