    1. I think ti went something like this: First Tom and Richard are doing a little trash talking during a game in 2012 leading to Tom saying, “look, talk to me after the game when we beat you”. Richard gets all in Tom’s face after the game and then tweets that night, “U mad Bro?”

I had to google campbell soup and u mad bro to find out that Richard Sherman was selected as Campbell’s Soup official “Mama’s Boy” after last year’s Superbowl.

I don’t think Gronk or Revis would like the honor.

  1. Okay, okay, the Pats won the game. As the only GMG subscriber that I know of in Seattle, here it is: Congratulations! They’re a great team, one I root for whenever they’re not playing the Seahawks (so that’s fairly often). That pick by Butler was a kick in the solar plexus, one that 49’er fans (last year’s NFC championship game) or Green Bay fans (this year’s NFC championship game) can relate to full well, so all I can say is, that’s football! But believe it, the ‘Hawks will be back! Oh, and in reality, Richard Sherman is an intelligent, thoughtful and articulate man, as well as an excellent player.

By the way, I hope you are all safe and warm!

    1. I completely agree with all of the above especially about the solar plexus. Remember the two Superbowls the Pats lost could have completely turned on single fluke plays (the helmet catch!) Seattle had a circus catch just moments before the curtain fell this time that would have driven a spike of misery into every Pats fan if Butler had not stepped up.

I really like Richard Sherman since his football play is fun to watch on and off the field. Same reason I love Rex Ryan and am really glad he is still coaching in the Pats division.

He is very entertaining to listen to but I will still make a foot fetish joke or two. The “U mad bro” tweet of Sherman’s is just low hanging fruit.
