What Guys Really Think About Your High-Waisted Shorts
If you’ve been to a music festival/outdoor concert recently, you have 100% been exposed to the trend/epidemic sweeping the female nation: High-waisted jorts. Girls of all ages, body types, booty types, and textual orientations have been rocking these denim doozies with crop tops, fake flower crowns, and leather boots in 3,000-degree weather because fashion.

“Very rarely have I seen a girl in high-waisted shorts and been into it at all. For the most part, I think they make girls look like misshapen science experiments that’d you find in Sid from Toy Story’s bedroom. But hey, if they make you feel pretty, keep on wearing those diaper shorts.
-Aaron, 25
“They’re the absolute worst. It’s like a girl is trying too hard to be trendy in those. It looks like she decided to keep pulling up her shorts just because. I’d immediately try to rip those off of my girlfriend if she was wearing them. Not in the ‘oh rip these off and do me’ way. Like ‘seriously, take those f*cking shorts off.’”
-Andy, 31

I don’t agree … If a girl has a small-ish waist and a cute tuchus, she can wear high-waisted shorts and pants. The cute tuchus is key then they’re pure hotness. But they might also fall in the category of clothes girls wear for ourselves and for other girls, not for men.

So funny–at the end of the article, they used the same photo that you posted.
I stand by what I wrote awhile back here: https://goodmorninggloucester.wordpress.com/2014/03/26/the-jeans-debate-rages-on/
You wont get any argument from me re high waisted denim shorts. I agree with the author of the article and most of the commenters, “If a girl is tall and has long legs she can totally rock high-waisted shorts, but when short girls with short torsos wear them they look like a baby in a diaper…”
Most women that I noticed wearing jorts this past summer looked terrible, with a capital T. Generally speaking, high-waisted and even cinched waist dresses looked beautiful on women in the 1950s and 60s because people were frankly not so over weight.

Too funny. But to this old guy most of the photographic evidence doesn’t prove the point. But I know where you are coming from!

It all depends on the figure! I do generally appreciate not seeing low cut jeans and shorts so much anymore. I was put off by the plumbers butts, tramp stamps and muffin tops. My advice to the ladies (I’ve heard this so many times from Ann for my various attire mistakes: Look in the mirror. Given the state of our waistlines, many of us should be wearing mumus and not shorts of any kind.
