Day Two With The CVS Brand Razor Blades

Took a half hour to stop the bleeding

I will chronicle my experience in my quest for the best shaving solution in light of the insane cost of Gillette razor blades and complete brutality inflicted with generic store brand razor blades.

Based on many recommendations I signed up for dollarsharve club.  The premise sounds outstanding  and if it works half as good as Chris DeWolfe and Rick Doucette claim it does I’ll be psyched.

I ordered the middle of the line razors-

  1. Well, King C. Gillette’s original plan was to “give away the razor, and sell the blades.” That’s about how it’s gone with Gillette over the years – the money is in the disposable bits (the blades) and not so much the “razor” itself. Now that a huge conglomerate (Proctor and Gamble) owns the Gillette brand, of course they’re gonna screw you. Corporate Greed is the name of the game.

  2. wax! rips out roots so you shave less and less.
There is also a thick molasses type of wax which does not need heating, also rips out hairs and roots. Does not work if it is licked off.
