I was at the house last night while she hand peeled all the pistachios taking hours to peel. When I asked her why she didn’t just buy them already peeled she said because the ones she bought inside the shell were better.
Even though it would have saved her hours in time and even though she’s giving all the proceeds of the sales of the e torrone candy to the cause she still insisted on using the no-compromise best ingredients.
Girl;s a maniac.
