This brought back some memories of the movie (1967) Alice’s Restaurant Stockbridge Mass where he went to school, about 2 1/2 hours west of Gloucester close to NY border. This is back in the day of the folk music… First performed at the Newport Jazz Festival. 🙂

Then on to the Newport Folk Festival! I saw the Lovin’ Spoonful there. Great to see it is still going now under the direction of Essex (former?) resident JJ Sweet.
