I had the same costume so many times as a child! Great to see they could have that experience with her son.

The down side to being well known movies star unless you go someplace where small town and very rural – lot’s of movies stars movies into New Mexico 60-70’s Taos-Santa Fe, etc. I remember in 1968 El Rito a house that was set back and across the street from where we stayed in an old adobe had a shetland pony that kept getting out of their field (left gate open). I caught it and brought it to owner – and no other than Bob Denver (Gilligan) USS Minow stepped out of house visiting Ex wife children (?) did not stay long there. Also saw John Phillip Law (Russians are coming) driving up the Carson National forrest road in and old 1957 chevy fold forward seats nice guy.
Later – Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper…Were filming Easy-Rider later in the state 1969 Las Vegas, Taos, Coyote. But by then had moved closer to Albuquerque NM.
Not bad for a kid 13 and 14 year old at that time…Read more at this link.
