That my sister, Judy Wilburn, who first introduced me to GMG a year ago May, was intrigued by Bista Zugu and so googled it? First came up my GMG Bista Zugu mug up post. Next came up http://www.silobreaker.com/did-you-know-bista-zugu-5_2264811490122924046. Silo Breaker is a search service for news and current affairs that aims to provide more relevant results to the end user than what traditional search and aggregation engines have been offering so far. Instead of returning just lists of articles matching a search query, Silobreaker finds people, companies, topics, places and keywords; understands how they relate to each other in the news flow, and puts them in context for the user through graphical results in its intuitive user interface. In other words, Sista Felicia’s bista zugu has gone global. Cool! There is also a strange, but apparently relevant graph that connects Hurricanes, Tropical Storm Irene, Zucchini, Chris White and Geneva with Paul Morrison at the center http://www.silobreaker.com/FlashNetwork.aspx?FreetextSearchStrings=bista+zugu.
Silo Breaker also reports good news for all chocolate lovers (my sister, Judy being a major one). A research has indicated that a daily dose of dark chocolate could slash the risk of developing heart disease by a third. So skip the broccoli and go for the dark chocolate.

Too funny.
I did the exact same thing – after reading the post I immediately googled bista zugu.
Exact same search results as your sister!
Had a big chuckle when I found out it’s just spaghetti and sauce!! I thought, I’m from an italian family, and I never heard of that! Oh – and we NEVER called it gravy !!!!
Anyway, I’m always intrigued by any of sista Felicia’s food posts. I don’t know what impresses me more – the fact that she is staunchly carrying on family traditional recipe’s or the fact that she commits herself to such time consuming and labor intensive dishes!
Rock on sista Felicia nella cucina!

JUST “Spaghetti Sauce” You must be a “Neapolitan”! 🙂 THE GRAVY COMMENT WAS JUST A JOKE. You hear it often on Racist Tv Shows like the Soprano’s and the Medigani Food Channel.
It’s always been “BISTA WITH THE ZUGU” HERE! and don’t forget to add the Potatoes and Hardboiled Eggs!

I never watched the Sopranos, hence I never understood the “Paulie Walnuts” reference. I did live in the North End for a number of years, so know the gravy thing, although I personally have always called it sauce. Never knew Sopranos or Medigani Food Channel (which I never heard of) were racist shows. Again, I must have been living under a rock.

“The Gravy thing” drives me crazy when i hear it. There are a lot more things to worry about in this world, but, that name “Gravy for Tomato sauce get’s to me. I did like watching the Sopranos. It was a little too “soap opera” like though. The food channel is not racist. But the food they try to pass as “traditional Italian” is far from it. They use the word “gravy” way to much. And Gianna, her nose may be Italian but her food is not traditional. Her cleavage attracts more viewers than her food. JUST MY OPINION!
I do love the food channel. Chopped is probably my favorite show next to Ghost Hunters. 🙂
DB OUT!
