Signs of Spring!

My View of Life on the Dock

Happy Saturday! Here are some familiar faces around town to brighten up a cloudy day. Enjoy!

Click on the seine boat christening photo above for a slideshow of past events in Gloucester. Which ones did you attend? Are there any events that you couldn’t identify? This is just a small sample of what happens in our city. We can all look forward to a busy spring and SUMMER!

Not much happening at Niles Pond this morning, but the surf along the backshore, with the sun on the waves, made getting up early worth it.

Niles Pond on Eastern Point is one of my favorite places to regain sanity.
Click the photo or here for a peaceful early morning slideshow.
For those of you who didn’t get to the Gloucester Guerrilla Art Project II last week, this is my photo video of “Wall Street Autumn”. My friend Peter Fedele is playing amazing guitar on the musical piece from his CD Hullabaloo. He lives in Rockport with his wife and 3 children. I love listening to him play.
Thanks, Joey, for helping me figure out how to get this posted! You are the best!

The sparrows love the pot-pickings as much as the gulls do.

I love this little guy! You have to be walking to see it. Look over the railing just before the Beacon Marine building. And there it is. Of course when the tide’s in, it’s underwater. Does anyone know where it came from? —Sharon
