The Cape Ann Museum was featured on the WGBH TV program, Open Studio with Jared Bowen on November 10 and 11. Bowen interviewed Cape Ann Museum staff Martha Oaks and Georgia Barnhill about the fabulous new Fitz Henry Lane exhibition. “They also toured the Lane House, so there are some good outside shots of Gloucester!” Click the picture below or follow the link.

The Cape Ann Museum Drawn From Nature and Stone: Lithographs of Fitz Henry Lane exhibition opened October 4th and will continue through March 4, 2018. Cape Ann Museum is located at 27 Pleasant Street in Gloucester, MA. Look for special programming inspired by the exhibition. Next up: Emerald Rae concert at the Cape Ann Museum

Open Studio this Weekend
I’ve been working hard to get the place spruced up, new work completed and framed, and I’d love to see whoever would like to come by. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 4, 5 & 6 from noon to 5:00. Hoping it won’t be freezing cold with 50 mph winds. When is winter going to end?
Also, be on the lookout for the opening of Sailor Stan’s Restaurant on April 12.

Ankeny Holiday Open Studio December 4th
On Saturday December 4th, from 12 to 6pm, Ankeny Studio will have its Holiday Open Studio. On display, we’ll have 19 new paintings at commission-free prices, which means 40% off!
Refreshments will be provided, and any patrons who make a purchase between now and Christmas will be entered into a drawing to win the original ink sketch on the flier attached to this email. (Drawing held on December 18th.)
I hope to see you there, but if cannot attend on the 4th, I’ll be open each Saturday until December 18th from 12-6pm. I’m also available for appointment viewings, just contact me.
