GloucesterCast 122 Cape Ann Real Estate With Kenny MacCarthy and Host Joey Ciaramitaro Taped 3/18/15
Kenny MacCarthy started the GloucesterCast with me over 4 years ago. I love how Kenny doesn’t sugarcoat anything to do with Real Estate. There is so much to learn from him about the inner machinations of the Real Estate world today.
If you have a home to sell or want to work with someone that you can trust to give you the straight information instead of trying to sell you something at all costs whether it is the right fit for you or not, Kenny is your guy.

Join award winning By the Sea Sotheby’s International Realty agents Kenny MacCarthy, Sue and Bob McDermott for a ride around Gloucester, Rockport, Manchester and Beverly to see their favorite homes.
In response to our call for funniest Super Bowl pics, Kenny MacCarthy submits –
The Super Bowl Parade has been rescheduled for Wednesday morning at 11am. There will no rally due to the amounts of snow at City Hall Plaza. The parking ban will continue to stay in effect.

Over the last few months, I’ve compiled a lot of information on the new FEMA regulations and flood zones here on Cape Ann. The links are all in one place on my blog. Just click here.
If you don’t need this, share it with someone that does. It’s a big deal and will really affect property values.
The stunning 8 unit Residences of Shore Cliff on Magnolia’s “little back shore” will now sell out. The last 2 units just had dramatic price reductions. One was originally offered at $1.4M, the other $1.1M. Both are now available for $795,000 each. They have easterly, open ocean views, Olmstead Gardens and superior Windover construction. If either fit your needs, let me know. Soon.
Remarks: HUGE PRICE DROP JUST IN TIME FOR THE OPEN HOUSE! New Construction on the ocean. Stunning landscaping and old stone walls. Shingle style duplex “cottages” in an old world Victorian waterfront community beautifully situated on high land with splendid views up the rocky coastline. Property includes an original Olmsted garden that is part of the common land. Master bedroom suite with balcony, plus 2 other beds and bath on the second floor. Ocean views from the living, dining, kitchen, screen/3 season porch, deck and bedrooms. This unit has a 2 car garage under.
Remarks: HUGE PRICE DROP!! JUST IN TIME FOR OPEN HOUSE. Filled with natural light, this south facing unit has a first floor master with attached 3 season porch and deck with partial views to the ocean. The floor plan allows for living on one level with minimal steps from the 2 car attached garage or the covered front entry. On the second level there are two large bedrooms, a full bath and a balcony with an ocean view. This duplex has the privacy of a single family unit. All eight units that make up the Residences of Shore Cliff have ownership in a magnificent Olmsted Garden which boldly faces east with views far up the rocky coastline of Magnolia to the Eastern Pt. lighthouse. Shore Cliff is surrounded by old stone walls and is exquisitely landscaped. The complex of 8 units is now completely built.
BTW I might as well share the auction video, too. If you remember, last week we told you about the auction at 14 Rouse Rd., Eastern Point. It sold today for $1.05M. If you’ve never seen an auction, watch my video clips.
Hi Joey, All week long, Bob, Sue and I preview and show properties. It’s what we do. Want to see what we see, via video??? Every week, we also create a video, complete with interior photos. And ALL our comments, good and bad, about the price, the staging, the photos (ugh!) etc. It’s called the Cape Ann MarketWATCH.

The best harbor taxi/tour in town is Gloucester’s own water shuttle. Call Capt. Peter Favazza on his “on board” mobile phone 978-631-9358 or the office at 978-283-1979 for info.

Dear Joey, My oldest childhood friend, Ron Gelineau, (we were tossed from CCD class for chuckling at “the burning bush”) is in town on vacation with his wife Melanie and daughter Regan. You may have seen him hanging around your parking lot ’cause he’s a die hard GMG fan and Gloucester resident wannabe. We were at Capt’ Carlo’s for dinner last night (fab eats, BTW! Ask for “Carl”. Great waiter!) when I told him about the “new hats”. Well, he had to have one. So, I whipped mine outta’ the trunk for a photo op. Unfortunately, we couldn’t do a group photo as we only have 1 hat. So, please order more hats so Ronny and I can both have one. (Ronny’s got mine!) Best, Kenny MacCarthy
