LOOK WHO’S STILL HAPPY FOR THE SNOW? CRAIG KIMBERLEY ….IS NUTS

Me and my iPhone 6 stepped out to see what the hell all that white stuff is falling from the sky. It’s Christmas every day in Gloucester. And yes, I still love it!!

LIVE STUCK! FEDEX TRUCK GETS STUCK IN GLOUCESTER – WINTER STORM 2015 – NEW ENGLAND

While I was trying to shoot a video on the best shovel, and shove techniques to use, the FEDEX truck got stuck on my street here in the Bayview area of Gloucester. After some attempts to dig them out, a very kind local named Forest comes up the other direction behind me. We came up with a plan, then I grabbed my cam.  BAAAM….#becausegloucester

Stay tuned for the shovel video!!

DRONE AERIAL: THE BLIZZARD 2015 – RESCUED IN BAY VIEW

IT’S THE BIG DIG 2!!
So here’s the rescue I was waiting for! Finally we are getting dug out of here. With drifts as high as 8 feet, there was no access to Kilby St., until now. Sorry for the crappy flying, but it was very gusty up here!

Video: Craig searches for a plow truck!

Well, this was a video for last night, but it would never upload from my house before the power died. So enjoy! More storm coverage and aftermath to come!

Sooooo thankful we had electricity and I was able to work today!!

Blizzard Blast: Old Garden Beach, Rockport

Brrrrrrrr.  Here’s some video footage from Old Garden Beach in Rockport along with some pics of the homes nearby. With a break in the snow and the plows slowing down, I ventured to the end of my street.  It is a short walk, but a coooold one today.  Mind you, it was not high tide, so the worst of it is yet to come.

The frozen salt water is beautiful albeit a menace to the ocean front homes. The price you pay, I guess.

Wonky

Kind of a wonky blizzard here in Rockport.

Freezing and SUPER WINDY, but not actually tons of snow….yet.

Our front deck is completely clean…as are our cars.  The snow in the front yard is accumulating in drifts and the snow in the back yard it 1/2 way up the fence so far.  Likewise, it is starting to devour the swing set.

We still have power and cable/internet….but yet the wind is louder than I’ve heard in a while!

Let’s hope the new construction on that breakwater holds!

Live Blogging: Shopping CHAOS..aka StoreGate

Yep, it’s pure chaos out here at the “Ghetto Shaw’s ” today because of Blizzard 2015. It’s 10:30 am, and simply too late to prepare for the worst. I would suggest going to the “Gucci” Shaw’s, or the “Beverly Hills Basket” where I hear is the only place to for for essentials.

No chance at the deli.

The end of the eggs.

Dairy is all but gone.

Wow, it’s a rat race.

Need a brush or shovel? Nope.

And the check out lines? INSANE! Backed all the way up to the crappy tabloid zines!

Who’s ghetto now? You can stand in line like the gubment is handing out cheese, or come to the hood and grab a few things. Thank you “South Side Shaw’s” for making my day!
