Dodgeballers and Friends of Dodgeballers Don’t Forget to Come To The Farm Wednesday Night To Pick Up Your Dry- Fit Technical T-Shirts and Registrations Bring Your Uniforms for Approval and Get In The Harlem Shake Video we’ll be taping Wednesday night!
The event itself will be held at YMCA Camp Spindrift in West Gloucester. They have an ideal facility to accommodate this event as it grows. Parking will be at nearby Wingarsheek Beach and there will be a shuttle between the parking lot and Camp Spindrift.
On Wednesday, March 13th at 7pm there will be a COMPETITOR’S PRE-EVENT MEETING at the Farm Bar & Grille in Essex, MA (233 Western Ave). The purpose of this meeting will be to give the athletes their tshirts and wristbands, as well as go over the rules of play and verify athletes’ age and make sure swimwear is all legal. At least one person from each team should be present. The idea here is to make everything run smoothly on the day of the event.

While at Mamie’s Kitchen yesterday for breakfast we were stopped by fans of GMG who had travelled up from Connecticut to go to Mamie’s Kitchen based on my recommendation. I was heading for the can and these three lovely ladies stopped me and asked ‘Are you Joey?” After replying yes, they told me how they loved the blog and were at mamie’s because of me. Sweet! I lost the piece of paper with their names on it

Word Is That One of Gloucester’s Biggest Supporters Of Live local Music Andy Mullholland Will Be Sporting The Speedo and Leading His Dog Bar Squad “American Bacon”. Andy caused quite a stir with the team name which is a direct shot across the bow of his Cape Ann Farmer’s Market Seafood Throwdown Nemesis Erik Lorden From Passport whose Team had already been named “Canadian Bacon”. There will be no love lost between these mortal enemies on the Dodgeball Court. Question Is- Who Will Bring The Meat?
We do not know how athletic these teams will be compared to the many Cross Fit and Athletic Club Squads but they will surely win the straight sexy points with their many fans!
