Man’s best friend. This sight kind of made my day. While driving down the boulevard and quickly stuck at the bridge, I happened to catch this moment between a person and their precious dog. I hope this photo finds this person! They are obviously lucky to have each other.

On June 28th, we were chosen as the winner of Best Small Business at the Greater Beverly Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Dinner. What a fantastic evening and an even better surprise to be selected from a great group of peers! We are so grateful for our community, and thank you for the recognition!
It couldn’t come at a better time as The Russell Center is celebrating our 25th Year in business this month! 

That is why we’ve decided to have Christmas in July and we hope you will join our celebration!
 Tuesday, July 25th from 8 – 11 am
We will have coffee and food!

Bring your kids to see Santa at 9 am!
Big Jim Murray will be here from 9 – 10 am
98.5 The Sports Hub Street Team will be on site with music, giveaways, and FUN!

Jeanette Marchant sent the following two photos remembering past Horribles Parades! Cheers to the tradition of the Horribles Parade!

About 1954. Stan Thompson, Dan Conant,
Clinton “Ken” Kerr, Everett Anderson,
Wesley Tucker, Jeannette Marchant, representing her father Stanley Marchant who was out of town and had just won Mayor of Dogtown contest.; Winifred Ellis and Phil Feener.
Part of group involved with Riverdale Horribles Parade.

There’s Still Room for More Volunteers!

Gloucester 400+ is Seeking Additional Volunteers

for the Fishtown Horribles Parade, including:

  1. At least four people to walk the 2.5-mile parade and carry banners.
  2. Several money collectors that will walk along with the Horribles money truck.
  3. Two or three parking attendants – to stay at parking lot and direct traffic (less walking required).

 Volunteers should meet at Newell Stadium at the Gloucester High School

at 5 pm on July 3rd.

The parade starts at 6 pm.

All volunteers will receive a free Gloucester 400+ tee-shirt
