The tides have been running at their more extreme ends during the recent full moon phase. It’s always interesting during a very high tide to see swimming water fowl when I look out the back porch of our apartment. Here are some views of the recent high tide at Dolliver’s Neck and Old House Cove. Check out the video especially if you enjoy the sounds of the pebbles washing back.

Kate and I are going to feature one or two local places to buy holiday gifts each day highlighting the fact that there’s no need to buy your presents online or trudge up to the mall. There’s excellent places to shop right here in Gloucester. For more visit www.goodmorninggloucester.com

Sharing news from the Happy Humpback Facebook page.

Hi Joey. I hope all is well with you. I was wondering if you could share something on GMG. I entered this contest called Bar Boss, and I was wondering if you could share my voting page for me. First prize is $10K. I would really appreciate it if you could. Please let me know. Voting begins tomorrow. Thank you, -Frankie

I love this truck…a different spin on Santa’s sleigh. I see it each season while trekking to Marlboro for hockey games with Finn and I’ve come to look forward to it each December.

I’ve been up to something fun….. Pat D’s Photos has brightly painted sets of wooden letters spelling VIVA to use to decorate or celebrate. We will be at the Gloucester UU church Sat Dec 9 from 9-1:30 AND at the Elks Sip and Shop on Atlantic Road Sunday Dec 10 from 10-3. These are among the items available. If you see us out and about taking these photos, stop and say hello! I think this is kind of fun. Hoping to see you this upcoming weekend! Reach out in comments or message me if interested in purchase. Limited sets available.
