My View of Life on the Dock

I think he wanted to get out before the snow hit. Â Happy New Year!
Congratulations To Gloucester Ma Native Lisa Lutoff- Perlo.
Read this article which was forwarded by Denise Pascucci from Cape Ann Travel
A 29-year travel industry veteran, Lisa Lutoff-Perlo was named president and CEO of Celebrity Cruises in December. For the past two years, she had served as executive vice president of operations for Royal Caribbean International with responsibility for launching Quantum of the Seas.
Prior to that she was senior vice president, hotel operations, for Celebrity and helped create the $3.7 billion Solstice-class fleet. We spoke to Lutoff-Perlo late last week about her first month on the job, her vision for the brand and what agents can expect.

So, I’ve got nothing. Â I apologize. Â I’ve been away all week (and still am) and while I looked for special events for the actual weekend, I didn’t find anything new. Â As you all know, my go to outdoor weekend activity (when you can’t go sledding, showshoeing, or skiing, is to go ice skating. Â Go find a great rink!
New Year’s Eve is obviously tonight, however, and if you’re looking for a FANTASTIC way to spend the evening with children (or without) head to Rockport.
Rockport’s New Year’s Eve celebration has more music packed into a nice walking proximity than one can even imagine.
Check out the full schedule HERE!

This place remains one of my all time favorite for a quick education trip into Cambridge along with a great lunch.

So many thanks to Joey and Tom Ring for the wonderful tip. The Snowy is gorgeous!!! My right arm is a little unsteady with robo-cast but still managed to get a few moments. Notice how the Snowy Owl rotates its head, giving him nearly a 360 degree viewing vantage. The crows and a hawk* were noisily dive-bombing the Snowy, but he held his ground. I hope we see him again soon.

Who’s gonna let a little snow stop them from manning the pit? Not this guy!

Starting out-

The set-up

Country style boneless pork ribs hit the kettle. I used hickory chunks and cherry chips, charcoal set up- snake method and tossed the water pan from the Western Mountain Smoker to keep the ribs from getting dried out.

Once they hit 150 internal I pulled them off, cut them up into cubes and reapplied the rub. Melted a stick of butter and mixed it with Texas Pete hot sauce and coated them before I reapplied the rub.

Back on the kettle-

Looking forward……to seeing you there 🙂

People who meet me can’t help but wonder, “what is such an adorable young lady still doing single?” Well I’ve been thinking the same exact thing! I was brought in by a local rescue group who thought I was too sweet to be living the rest of my days on the streets. So here I am, waiting to find a family to take me home! I like enjoying all aspects of life. I am good at playing, eating, relaxing, getting and giving attention and affection. All of the important things! Do I sound like a good match for you and your family?

I was traveling from Boston to Las Vegas the other day and passed on a coffee at 6:30 a.m. when leaving “the island” because I wanted to savor a large hot coffee while sitting at the airport.
This is what I found waiting for me when we finally checked in, checked our bags, cleared security, and found our gate.
Such a bummer.
Which line would you get in if you were about to depart for a cross-county flight and hadn’t had a coffee yet?
