We needed a mouse. Today. No problem! Abacus Computer & The MacDaddy renovated December 2018 to add in a RadioShack partnership to their brick and mortar PC and Apple computer retail and repair shop at 238 Main Street, Gloucester, Mass. I hadn’t noticed the new sign till today.

It was a busy morning on Singing Beach last Saturday! Lots of dogs, children and walkers.
Not sure what is going on with this person in the background here. I’d like to say I noticed this and that was the reason for the photo, but instead my eye was drawn to these curious dogs.

I think Gloucester’s stunning Stacy Boulevard will soon be joined by another smart custom build. Cape Ann Museum estimates that a new collection center that’s climate controlled, accessible to the public, and programmable is estimated to cost 3 million and be finished in about a year. Wow!
A wintry blue sky and fresh fallen snow — and knowing the magic of what’s to come!– lent a touch of Maxfield Parrish to the White Ellery site. The blue Community Preservation (CPA) sign reflects new work on the barn.

“The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.”
An essayist and critic for the Baltimore Sun, the New Yorker, and the New York Times, Mencken was a founding editor of the influential American Mercury. Often referred to as the “Sage of Baltimore”, Mencken’s notoriety was solidified by his acerbic coverage of what he called the Scopes Monkey Trial and his widely read book The American Language (1919). He was a follower of Nietzsche and counted Twain among his heroes. His support for Ayn Rand (The Fountainhead, Atlas Shrugged, etc.) helped to launch her career. His distrust of the democratic process is on display in the above quote as well as the following: “No one ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public.”
Happy Friday to most. We know that the shutdown has been extremely challenging on families. While we know that haircuts don’t always seem like a necessity & more of a luxury we don’t feel that this isn’t always true. Sometimes that fresh look may be all you need to rise your spirits. Please come into Unwind Luxury.Vegan.Beauty from now until Feb 14th if you are a government paid employee who is no longer getting paid. We want to treat you to a complimentary haircut or even just wash & blow dry for yourself and your children. This is an honor system, so please do not abuse it.
Let’s all come together and help in anyway possible. Spread the word. From our tribe, to yours ❤️ 978-282-1900
