We have had quite a weekend with walks to the causeway (between Niles Pond and Brace Cove) and a water show in front of our deck. With family visiting, we enjoyed lobsters from Joey’s operation.

It’s a scorcher today and many are finding relief at Stage Fort Park. By the time we reached the bridge, outside temperature “only” 92!

We enjoyed another meal from Fox Creek Tavern recently. We reserved an inside table online at their website and we heartily greeted by Cecilia, the manager. We had a lovely relaxed meal. Honey bacon scallops as an appetizer, fish and chips and seafood sliders served by Alex in a friendly and efficient manner. Tables were distanced, customers and staff safely masked. We had eaten there shortly before quarantine, got take out during and now returned to inside dining. Each time we have enjoyed the food and the helpfulness of the staff. See you again, friends!

It is with great regret that we must announce the cancellation of the 2020 Magnolia Road Race Classic. Back in April, we still held out hope that the 44th running could still take place. As you well know, that optimism has given way to our current reality.

Cape Ann Museum is offering a special cultural tour. Enjoy special sites connected to art and history from your boat!
“Participating vessels will be guided along the coast of Cape Ann on a tour that highlights spots that were fundamentally important in the careers of many of America’s greatest artist, including Fitz Henry Lane, Winslow Homer, Jane Peterson, Edward Hopper, Milton Avery, Mark Rothko and more!”

Cape Ann Museum leads wonderful walking tours, too.

It was an easy drive out of town and back this morning: Here’s 9AM at two ‘apt to back up’ spots. The Good Harbor Beach parking lot was closed, open to residents only, before 10.
