Trying out a new iPhone app
Eye-Fi
We poked through the Apple store last night and I saw this new Eye-Fi SD card. I thought all you GMG readers/photographers would love it!
It’s an SD card that wirelessly uploads all your photos to your computer and photo sharing sites like Flickr or Facebook and can even tag each image with a geo-location! They sell them at Apple for $49.99, but I have seen them online for a few bucks cheaper. I told Mike this is on my “list”.

Gloucester Harbor 3/31/10
I have passed the one year mark of being a Gloucester resident! I can say that I am very happy that I decided to move here and everyday brings more love for this city and Cape Ann.
I took this picture of city hall almost a year ago on my iphone, walking home from a dinner downtown. I was so happy to be where I was that the weather didn’t bother me at all (ok maybe a few drinks helped). Very similar to a day like today.
Cape Ann Farmer’s Market News From Sandy Farrell
Hi Joey,
Newsflash: Last night the City Council approved the new permit for the Cape Ann Farmers’ Market. This summer the market will be moving up Harbor Loop, even closer to the water, sharing space with the Gloucester Maritime Heritage Museum. Details to follow!
Are you in the Loop? Harbor Loop!
Hope you are well and dry. Bayview took a licking, now I have waterfront property AND a waterfall.
Regards, Sandy
ps learned a term that was new to me- “MOJO” and Joey, you are a MOJO, a mobile journalist: films, blogs, e-mails, interviews and keeps moving. Thanks for all you do for us.
Is Everyone Warm and Dry?
How bout some stories in the comments of this post as to how all my peeps are holding up in this latest round of rain.
I follow Matt Noyes on Twitter and he had been harping all week about the severity of the flooding from this latest deluge. He pretty much nailed it. Gotta give the man credit.
