How Many times do I have to tell our so called fearless leader i’m not Paulie Walnuts! Paulie Walnuts was a character on the Sopranos! A show that protrayed Sicilian Americans as; Murderers, thugs and low Lifes!  What does it take to be taken seriously as an Artist and a GMG Blogger?

Just letting you know that Gloucester/Rockport’s own Denis Golden came in first (first time ever tie) for the EH look alike contest in Key West Florida. It takes place at Sloppy Joe’s and he goes down for it every year. Check out their website and you’ll see it. If you don’t know Denis you should meet him and he would be a great interview. He’s a legend (in his own mind) and a great guy. If you want to get in touch w/him let me know. He doesn’t know I’m doing this but he just loves the camera.

That Bud Hodge of Woodland Park, CO found the Paul Frontiero Rocky Neck Art Rock hidden in a Paul Morrison ceramic bowl at Khan Studio and the Good Morning Gloucester Gallery today?  Bud and his wife, Kathleen Burke, return each summer to Kathleen’s family home on Briar Neck.  Kathleen and her family love Joey and have been regular Capt. Joe & Sons lobster customers for many years; however, she didn’t know about GMG (what’s up with that Joey! – must be Frankie they always see), which she was thrilled to learn about.  I was explaining about Paul’s art rocks and how he hid them around Gloucester for people to find and that there was one actually hidden in the gallery.  Bud had already scoped it out and went for it immediately.

In Support of the Cape Ann Animal Aid, Papa Gino’s Pizzeria located at 233 Main Street, Gloucester, will be having a fundraiser Thursday July 28th from 4-9pm. 20% of the total pre-tax sales from all guests that come in with a flyer will be donated to the Cape Ann Animal Aid.
