After my Daily Meditating session I took these Photos of the Adventure at the Marine Railways.
In a few weeks I’ll have to find a quiet spot, because this parking lot will be filled.

Here is a survival suit which can keep a person alive for days at sea in the winter as opposed to 5 minutes in the ocean without one in the winter.
I added labels to show all the different parts of the survival suit. I think everything is pretty self explanatory except maybe the wax which is used to keep the zipper working well. If you can’t get into the survival suit because the zipper is frozen then it’s not doing you much good now is it? The survival suit should always be stored with the zipper in the down position. Seconds are critical when you hit 30 degree water and not having to fidget with a stuck or zipper that wont unzip could cost a fisherman their life.

I took the liberty of adding the fog to this scene in Rockport’s little inner harbor. It makes for a more atmospheric picture.
These fish baskets are what are used by a majority of fishermen on deck as they sort all the different species and sizes of fish they catch. They are much lighter and clean up alot nicer than the old galvanized wire baskets that they used up until about the mid eighties.
When HACCP regulations came into the seafood industry it made wood handled shovels not usable for food handling and the industry turned to plastic shovels rather than the old wood handled and aluminum shovels we used growing up. These plastic shovels suck for chopping ice and you need to put at least two or three shovel fulls of ice in the smaller plastic shovels compared to the deep strong hard aluminum shovels we used to use that would hold much more ice.
