Volunteering at Maritime Gloucester

So much fun volunteering at Maritime Gloucester on Friday.  How lucky was I to be able to be at the touch tank.  Think my hands were in the touch tank as much as the happy kids.  New guest, blue lobster, at Maritime Gloucester.

Maritime Gloucester

Prior to the Pier Fest at Maritime Gloucester, took some photos on the pier.  The sky was beautiful and looked like it was telling a story.

A little dreary at the State Pier

On Wednesday the skies were gray, and the air was humid.  Took a walk on the State Pier.  The only blue was the color of a couple of boats and a house in the distant.  Time for the sun to come back out.

Maritime Gloucester

On Friday afternoon took a walk around Maritime Gloucester.  The light and reflections were very pretty.  We are so lucky to live here.

More signs of summer

Went to the beach late Wednesday afternoon and saw a familiar sight.  The moorings are going back in at Magnolia Harbor.  Love the dog on the boat.

Essex Shipbuilding Shipyard

Went over the Essex Shipbuilding on Sunday for a Celebration of Life.   The Essex Shipbuilding boat yard is a wonderful place.  Always enjoy walking the boat yard.

Spring walk downtown Gloucester

On Wednesday Rick and I went to the Beauport Hotel for a delicious lunch.  After lunch had to go do some errands and since it was not raining, we walked.  The flowers from Generous Gardeners at the police station are looking pretty.  Generous Gardeners does such a great job, and we thank them.   Walking around St. Peter’s Square with the boats and lobster traps were getting ready for the summer.

A Coastal Buoy Tender in Gloucester Harbor

Had to look up what kind of Coast Guard Vessel this was.  Saw it going by Magnolia Shore Road the other day.

Reflections under the pier

Walking the pier at Maritime Gloucester on a nice March Day. There is always something to see and have nice conversations with other walkers.
