5 Center Street To Host Art Classes- Check It Out

The Lovely Kate Seidmen Fills Us In on The New Art Classes The Will Be Offered At 5 Center Street

Christmas Presents

Photos of Santa in Rockport will have to wait until tomorrow. Still warming up as it was blowing and raw but I got a few action shots.

But while we were waiting for Santa we went to Passports for a great “Chef’s Burger” and then my daughter and I stopped in at Bananas because Joey had posted a photo of their martini shakers. My daugther wisely got me a shaker for Christmas and my son (still in college) although he did not know it got me some martini glasses.

I have such smart children. I didn’t make it out of there before buying three pairs of sunglasses and a nice worn in pair of bluejeans.

Bananas, 78 Main Street, Gloucester. That shaker is from the 1930s and quite economical.

Christmas on Main -Things To Do At Art Haven!

From Dawn Gadow At Art Haven-

Hi Joey,
First, there’s a copy of the full schedule for the middle street walk.
I’m not sure if anyone has gotten this to you yet, but it would be
great if you could get it out there for people to see. Also, I’ve
attached our flier about the stuff that we’re doing on the 12th. And
finally, you should try to make it down sometime this week and check
out The Hive–they’re almost completely moved in now and it’s looking
really awesome 🙂 Hope all is well. The cookie contest looked pretty
awesome and successful, I stopped in for a few minutes. Thanks as
always for all you do and hopefully I’ll see you soon!

Michael Seif Interviewed At The Rocky Neck Goes Downtown Gallery

This from Mike-

Hi Joey –
Thanks for doing the fun video of my work yesterday. Unfortunately, after all my calculating, I was off by a week for the opening reception of the Rockport Art Association photography show – it is December 13.

Any way to put this corrected date along with the video?
Thanks again. I hope to see you at an opening in the near future.
Mike

Sharon Lowe’s Cape Ann 2010 Calendar

Sharon dropped off one of her beautiful calendars for me and I have to tell you they are just the perfect gift.  The images look like paintings, the kind of painting where they make everything just right.  $15 and the just right for mailing out as a gift.  It’s a no-brainer for anyone you know who loves our area.
