This lovely couple are visitors from Melrose.

They were originally from Ireland and immigrated here in 1957.

Now they are very proud  Americans grateful for all the opportunities.

Young Larry Veator an avid Red Sox fan, receives an autographed photo of Ted Williams after a game at Fenway.

Larry, also a great athlete at Gloucester High School, had a brilliant business career, and also author of “The Other Side of the Cut” A Memoir, now retired and living in Gloucester on the other side of the ‘cut’.

From Woburn, he and his wife vacation every year in Rockport on Bear Skin Neck.

He was enjoying a bike ride all the way to Gloucester from Rockport.
