Another gift from mother nature

The sunset on Thursday night was incredible.  Our sunset club really enjoyed fall sunsets.   Thank you, mother nature.

2024 Magtoberfest Fun day

On Sunday, October 13, 2024, the 4th annual Magtoberfest occurred.  First, I would like to thank all who came out to support all the local vendors and food trucks and restaurants.  Even the though the weather was not great it was a great turnout.  Thank you to the Cape Ann Makers Market and the Magnolia Community Library committee.  They were all extraordinary.

Gloucester’s Welcoming Center

On Tuesday morning the ocean was singing a beautiful song.  This photo was taken 3.5 hours before high tide.  Grateful the beauty of the ocean.

A Day at the Topsfield Fair

We have been going to the Topsfield Fair for many years and it is always fun.  This year there were local food trucks, Tucks Candy, Bees and Thank you.   Audrey Florist won 1st Prize, Seaview Farms had their cows there as well.  The food is amazing with the way you can eat an Oreo or ice cream.  I love the animals, sheep, goats, my favorite horses, cavies and bunnies.

The most beautiful event of the year is the

Generous Gardeners

Stacy Boulevard Dahlia Bouquet Sale

Saturday October 12th at 10:00

by the tennis courts

Generous Gardeners volunteers will be making arrangements for sale to the public.  We will have vases or plastic sleeves for you to take the flowers home.  The dahlias are spectacular this year, so be sure to see the show of flowers before this event.  Arrangements will not be set aside or pre-sold.

We do expect the flowers to continue blooming, so if you cannot make this event, Antonietta will continue to make arrangements until first frost.  After that we will be digging out the plants to store for the winter.  We will not be selling tubers this fall, any extra dahlia tubers will be sold at our spring plant sale on May 17, 2025.

We have lots of daylilies that we just divided from the beds surrounding the Merchant Marine Anchor on the Boulevard.  These are beautiful plants that we will be selling for $1 each, so amazing deals can be made on Saturday.

Thank you for your support.
