Gloucester Gig Rowers Going Through The Cut

Hi Joe

Captured the gig rowers going through the Blynman bridge today on my walk. Just don’t see them pass through there very often. Just passing it on!

Enjoy

  1. This is the Annisquam River Row. It generally happens only once or twice a year. The timing is crucial. The rowers take three hours to row from Maritime Gloucester, through the cut bridge, under the railroad bridge and the 128 bridge up the Annisquam to the marshes. There they stop to swim and enjoy lunch before heading back with the tide. It’s a wonderful experience.
