Another amazing find up here on our cape.

Yellow-crowned Night Heron named for its long yellow feathers on top of head. A rare treat to see in Cape Ann. Seasonally found in South America, Mexico, and the Caribbean Islands… Nests may be 60+ feet off the ground, Average brood is 2-6 blue-green eggs. This one was hunting crabs. Nikon, 800mm, ethical distance, Cape Ann MA location
