Hi there- NOAA received the report of this turtle in October when it first was sighted near this location. I went out at that time, but it was still in the water so just collected the data I could and left it on site. Over the winter, we stopped getting reports as I believe it was farther away from the road. It moved towards the road again in the spring and we’ve received several reports since then. We are letting nature take its course to dispose of this animal. Thanks so much. Kate Sampson (NOAA sea turtle stranding coordinator)
