Quarry Dance X: The Film Premiere is being launched online on Zoom on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 7:00PM. The Zoom premiere is free to attend.

Cape Ann’s signature dance event, Quarry Dance X: The Film, is set to premiere on April 24, 2022 on Zoom at 7:00PM. The film features Dušan Týnek Dance Theatre dancers filmed at two private Cape Ann quarries during the summer of 2021. This 36-minute film, produced by Lisa Hahn, Executive Director of Windhover and filmed by Anders Johnson, features original music composed by Joe Mulholland. Joe is a Professor of Harmony/Jazz Composition at Berklee School of Music in Boston, MA, and this marks his first time composing music for the quarry dance.
The Zoom premiere is free to attend. RSVP for this event. Although the event is free – please consider making a donation to Windhover in order to help sustain the creative work of artists at Windhover. Please join us on April 24th.
Following the film showing, there will be a Question and Answer session with the creative team. Please feel free to ask questions in the chat, and our moderator will pose your questions to the artists after viewing the film, and you will hear their answers in real time.
