Sunset last night Halibut Point From Andres Lurie

Oliver’s
Several of us enjoyed a delicious dinner at the new Oliver’s on Main Street in Gloucester the other night. We shared several salads and appetizers before ordering lots of sushi and a few entrees to also share…. and then some espresso martinis and desserts. Everything was delicious and I’ll happily go back again. Give it a try!

Off the Wall Bookstore Now Open
Second Glace opened its bookstore, Off the Wall, within its own walls on Pond Street a few days ago so I stopped by to take a look. I found a warm, inviting space FULL of books, music and movies available at very reasonable prices. Adult books sell for 75 cents, childrens books 50 cents; CDs and DVDs are $1 (though DVD seasons are a little higher).
I saw many current titles available and the staff (thanks Laurel and Susan) is friendly. The sales support the Open Door; it’s definitely a win-win. Stop in and shop a bit.

Nichols is spectacular! It’s worth a special trip to the Museum. A Gallery Talk is scheduled for Saturday March 14 at 9:30 am about the works of these two artists. Incredible waves near sunset at Rafe’s Casham
Amazing out at Rafe’s Chasm on Saturday almost sunset. Always careful out there, these waves were taken about 3.5 before high tide. The color were one of Mother Nature’s finest.
