A Walk In The Woods
We have visited the Adirondack Mountains in N.Y. on a regular basis since 1972. Over the years, I scaled 38 of the 46 Adirondack peaks with summits over 4,000 feet. Most of my climbing was with my son and my brother-in law. My climbing days are over, but I’m still drawn to the region to enjoy the majesty of the mountains, its intricate history and its gleaming waterways. These photos were taken a few weeks ago when we enjoyed a wonderful family reunion in the Saranac Lake area of the Adirondack State Park.
