  1. Very nice shot walls are dual purpose for support and to provide shelter from the winds and cooler weather while sun reflects of the wall! Great shot Marty and see your doggie checking out the spot too!

    SUNLIGHT WHISPERING ON STONE WALLS

    Like sunlight whispering on stone walls,
    like well-water smiling under grass, today, quietly,
    on a lonely spring road my heart longs to gaze up at the sky, all day long.

    Like shyness infusing a brides cheeks,
    like the ripples gently caressing a poem’s breast,
    I long to gaze up at the silken sky
    as it flows thin. a soft emerald hue

    1. Most welcome Marty – thanks to GMG we have the escape needed when things get tough I can not tell you truly how much of blessing this is!
      It always means so much to have that place called home I was born in Somerville moved to Lanesville when 3yo and moved westward 1968 was an adventure crossing USA 1968! Indeed in an old converted highway bus that ran the Cape Cod Route had scoop on back and the sign had the location like buzzards bay, woods-hole and other locations lost the bus to an intruder while parked on private land in national forest land 48 Acers so lot’s of memories too and possessions had a little wood stove in got too hot and burned it down to frame!

      Nothing but scrape metal good thing it burned itself out and damage was confined to the area bus was in!
