Thanks to the heroic efforts of the Tally’s crew, police, and especially Brendan Hendrickson who had the most undesirable job of being in the driver’s seat, the truck (with Maine plates) was pulled to shore without what appeared too much damage to the undercarriage.

Is this a trend of trucks returning to the sea from whence they came ???? First Pavilion Beach, now Niles Beach !!!!! Which one is next? Good Harbor, Cressey, Long, Wingaersheek????? What has infected the minds of these trucks to act like lemmings ?? (It must be that stupid rubber duck.)

God love those Mainers.
He was just testing the advertising slogan; Built FORD TOUGH
Might make for a fun episode of Top Gear.

The seawall height above the pavement is not particularly high in certain spots along there, but man you would really have to floor it to lunge over it and land up where it did. Trying to pull out quick while there was break in traffic and you were actually in Reverse?? Ouch!

There are so many different reasons this can happen oops gas pedal, oops break failure too. Jack up great idea!! Luckily did not go over or would need to crane it up. Looks like he was letting the air out of front tires. Not front plate so not MA vehicle. We are all human just glad nobody was hurt that’s the most important thing vehicles can be fixed…people little harder! Dave
