FLAG IS 38 FT. BY 20 FT. –THOUGHT, MAYBE LOST FROM ONE OF THE TALL SHIPS ??? ASKED ADVENTURE PEOPLE ,IF THEY HEARD OF LOST FLAG???

It must have been from some special commemoration ceremony, perhaps in New York or Washington. It could have floated up the coast in the Gulf Stream and then was spun toward the fishing grounds by a gyre. If the source is to be tracked down a wide search may be needed.
