On our Podcast yesterday we talked to Dennis Funk who is FOB Karen Pischke’s cousin from South Carolina. Just saw on the Boston Marathon Tracker has finished the Boston Marathon in 3:08:42. Very impressive and Congrats.

Dennis definitely was inspired by meeting all of you and George and Charles King, those amazing 12 year olds. š By the way, that ‘3.08’ time was from 2014; this year, Dennis’ time was 3:05:48. He placed 6th in his division (60 – 64;) ‘aging backwards’ the goal. š
I just noticed, 7 people from Gloucester ran this year; 5 men and 2 women. Nick Taormina had the best time – 2:59:43. Nicolle Sugrue did 3.56. Well done! Congrats to all the runners.

Thank you Karen, the tracker may have been off because it did say unofficial time. That is amazing time, since the first woman was 2:29.. the woman are catching.. really enjoyed your cousin Dennis and as always great to see you. Take care my friend..

A sticker that will stick to the runner’s too great job all the way around here. I did spend quite a bit of time in South Carolina 30 days Deployed in the 81-82 timeframe at Shaw AFB deployed for exercise solid shield, from Robins AFB GA convey up! Had a great time as they rented rooms for us this time hotel next to highway and there was a big town water tank…And had some great ribs too! š Dave
