How long have you lived in Gloucester?

Immigrated to Gloucester in 1954 from the Azores, I left in 1968, and returned 40 years later in 2008. (Total of 20 Years)

What is your favorite season In Gloucester?

SUMMER and FALL

Do you have any secret outdoor spots in Gloucester where you go to “get away”?

Sit at the end of the Breakwater.  

What is your favorite pizza joint in Gloucester?

Maria’s Restaurant 35 Pearl Street Gloucester MA.

What is your favorite sub shop in Gloucester?

Destinos Sub Shop 129 Prospect Street Gloucester MA

What place would you go for a romantic dinner in Gloucester?

Any Restaurant downtown, then we can walk home 

What is your favorite bar in Gloucester?

We enjoyed Giuseppe’s Ristorante and Piano Bar, however it closed so we are looking for another favorite, it’s always fun to look.

What is your favorite breakfast joint in Gloucester?

Sugar Magnolias 112 Main Street Gloucester MA

What is your favorite local event in Gloucester?

Schooner Festival

In the summer do you prefer the beach or to be on a boat?

By Boat – We have Season Tickets to the Water Shuttle from Cape Ann Harbor Tours. Hop On Hop Off or just Ride around, Best Deal in Town.

Good Harbor Beach.

What were your thoughts on The Downtown Block Parties last year?

Okay – I take a walk up and down Main Street, than I find a quite place to eat not on Main St.. 

What is your favorite local band?

I prefer to listen to solo singers Allen Estes, Chelsea Berry, Fly Amero and  Henry Allen.

What about Gloucester sets it apart from anywhere else?

The People. It is very easy to meet those that live and visit Gloucester. I enjoy the history and the multi-cultures that make up Gloucester, and I was born on an Island so I like living on an Island.
