In my humble opinion…Willow Rest has THE best breakfast sandwich around! It might take a few extra minutes than a rubbery drive-thru sandwich, but it’s totally worth it because it’s made with fresh ingredients, exactly how you want it. This is usually a treat for me, but this morning I got a fried egg, cheddar, bacon on fresh wheat toast…perfection!
They not only have great food but you can grab some fresh produce, cheeses, flowers and unique gift finds!

I love that place too! I also remember fondly the bowling alley they had in the back when I was a girl!!

Wow things sure have changed at the willow rest love the layout too I had a friend that went to Beeman who lived in this area I used to hang around with school bus drove by here everyday. And my school teacher used to live around the corner Washington street going toward the turnoff to Beeman… he was extremely big into model trains BIG TIME 🙂 Dave & Kim 🙂

Yes indeed as I think only two stores there still the package store and the grinder Fred’s Sarri’s place. Visions in my mind even with changes could still find my way around just some views are different…Like a homing pigeon finds it way Thanks for sharing! 🙂 Dave.
