I love the look of this very old gas fired stove. It has an extremely powerful flame and within seconds of Don igniting, the water was boiling hot. I meant to ask Barbara how old are their stoves and find out more about them. If she, or anyone from the shop, is reading this post, please write in the comment section and let us know. Thank you!

I have a special fondness for Nichol’s candy. My mom was Walt’s first “candy girl” when he was originally located on Main Street, and he was a family friend to the Orne tribe. We miss him, but his wonderful candy lives on. I love seeing the cranberry candy house as I come down Rt. 128, along the river. It’s a real Gloucester landmark. Perhaps the town quilters will consider the candy house for their next inspiration.

Thanks for sharing that Leslie!
Great idea for the Quilters; I believe several panels are still in progress.
