Coconut had good first night home. She slept soundly & ate chicken sweet potato & salmon every 4 hours. This morning she was differently ready for her pain medication and wanted to be held for a over an hour… which is fine with me! This afternoon her belly is super sensitive and she hasn’t been able to sleep in a comfortable position other than in my arms. We have been in contact with her doctors at Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital & in very close contact with Dr. Ray Cahill at Seapot Veterinary hospital.
They have bumped up her pain medication a little and we continue to pray she will have some reliefe soon. Please keep praying for our girl she isn’t out of the woods yet🙏

Welcome home: My mom’s poodle had something similar and I recall this from our Vet as well best of on recovery! 🙂 Dave & Kim 🙂
Our veterinarian recommended to mom if I recall correctly as it was in 1970’s (Confirm with your vet, a diet restrictive in high fat. It is known that fish oils decrease biliary cholesterol, thus making an omega 3 supplement a good addition to your dog’s eating regimen. Minerals and vitamins such as zinc (shown to offer liver protection), and vitamins C, K, and B’s are suggested as further aids to continued health.

Ty Dave right they recommend we feed her anything she wants which is really on chicken salmon eggs sweet potato, while we wait for her liver biopsy to come back . A special diet & or medication adjustments will be made. Right now they are just focused on managing her pain & eating drinking ! Ty keep praying for my Girl

I will pray for her recovery and I do know how much the (Human-dog) means to us it’s more than a dog it’s family! Once again the foundation that way with animals and great folks who taught up to stay one path! 🙂 Dave & Kim 🙂
One day I will scan a photo of my dog (Haska Pie) native saying she had malamute and some wolf extremely smart was actually mom’s dog as a pup she really took to me following me everywhere I wanted to take her with me but could not due to all the red tape! She is still one with me inside always! 🙂 Dave
