We Have Lift-Off!

  1. In the 1990’s, possibly 1996, the harbor shuttle stopped at Ten Pound Island as part of its regular route. My young grandsons and I packed subs from Virgilios and our art supplies and were “summer artists on Ten Pound Island” until the weather changed with approaching storm and the shuttle returned for us. This is still a fond memory as those grandsons now bring their children to Gloucester to enjoy their maritime heritage.
I miss seeing the old keeper’s house to go with the lighthouse. Let Gloucester natives as well as expats enjoy those islands that can be seen from shore.

  2. Marty, Great Show!

Great shot and that pure enthusiasm – Ear’s back just like the flaps on the plane get the uplift – currents and enthusiasm is all you need 🙂 Dave & Kim 🙂
