Below is a list of some favorite nectar- and pollen-rich bee-friendly North American wildflowers for attracting native bees and honey bees to your gardens. They are listed in order of bloom time, from spring through late summer, to provide your foragers with nourishment all growing season long.

      I plan to add a few notes about the plants, especially Physostegia virginiana, Obedient Plant, which is not so obedient! Only plant that where you don’t mind when it takes over a corner of your garden!

    1. You have the perfect spot Donna for a bee garden, with you thicket of woods behind your home. Native bees nest in the woods and then will come to your garden for nectar and pollen.
