I plan to add a few notes about the plants, especially Physostegia virginiana, Obedient Plant, which is not so obedient! Only plant that where you don’t mind when it takes over a corner of your garden!

You have the perfect spot Donna for a bee garden, with you thicket of woods behind your home. Native bees nest in the woods and then will come to your garden for nectar and pollen.

Did you by chance order milkweed and aster seeds from our upcoming seed sale? Our local Cape Ann nurseries are an increasingly great source for finding native wildflowers, as is New England Wild Flower Society.
