I’ve worked for the MFA, and run my own gallery for thirty years. I admire Laureen Maher’s paintings. The Birdseye Building series she is painting is especially significant, and I hope the Cape Ann Museum is looking at it. After the building is demolished, the paintings made on site will be very important to our history.
