We once more gather in holiday praise
In lighting our tree of combined faith and love
Our hearts reflecting on the past of youthful days
Of our celebration and its start under God heaven above
We give thanks for our soldiers who have returned
And pray for those who have stayed to defend
In our hearts and souls we yearn
That all the fighting will come to an end
On this night we are again lighting this tree of Faith
Surrounded by our children at our side
To enlighten our love and hope at the oceans gate
Where the true reality of family pride resides
We also give thanks to those of the present and past
Who have gifted this family re-union through the years?
