City of Gloucester Storm Update

Please review the following four important updates:(1) There are approximately 4,000 customers without power across the City.  There are numerous trees, limbs and live wires down impeding snow removal efforts.  If possible, please stay off the roads.  National Grid is working to restore power.
(2) Only essential City services are available today.  City Hall is closed.
(3) Trash services for today are postponed until tomorrow.  Tuesday trash pick up is as scheduled.
(4) The parking ban will lifted at 6:00 pm this evening, rather than tomorrow morning.  Please remove vehicles from municipal lots after 6:00 pm tonight so the lots can be cleared.
To repeat, there are numerous downed wires and trees – please stay off the roads.  City Hall is closed.  Trash service for today will take place tomorrow.  The parking ban will be lifted at 6:00 pm tonight.
