Acclaimed film about the power of Youth Entrepreneurship
Monday, November 15th from 6:30p-8:30p at the Cape Ann Community Cinema (21 Main Street, Gloucester – above Mystery Train) the film “Ten9Eight” about youth entrepreneurship is being held in honor of Global Entrepreneurship Week.
The film provides an exciting window into the work of teen entrepreneurs. Cape Ann Business Incubator (CABI ) has developed a new program, The MicroBusiness Zone, where teens are invited to come after school and learn about setting up a business (next session begins in January 2011).
The screening of the film will provide an invaluable experience to those teens who may not have thought of entrepreneurship as a career choice. It also shows a compelling way to reach youth and give them an opportunity to learn about the local entrepreneurship resources we have available. This is an opportunity not to be missed.
About Global Entrepreneurship Week With the goal to inspire young people to embrace innovation, imagination and creativity, Global Entrepreneurship Week will encourage youth to think big and turn their ideas into reality. From November 15-21, 2010, millions of young people around the world will join a growing movement to generate new ideas and seek better ways of doing things. Tens of thousands of activities are being planned in dozens of countries. Global Entrepreneurship Week is founded by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and the Make Your Mark campaign.
