Asparagus is one of those foods that is so good when cooked right but so easy to cook wrong.

Roasted or grilled is my absolute favorite way to eat asparagus!!!!

As a kid we found out my dachshund liked asparagus very fresh as it just emerged from the ground.
My father found out the hard way after spending years trying to get it to grow in the Woods Hole climate they were coming up and Max ate them.
Sad to see a grown man cry.
