If you saw the stats yesterday you will notice the jump up from Sunday’s numbers to Monday’s numbers just as I predicted based on the trends. I wish there was a way to quantify the people that have subscribed and only get the feed at the end of the day but they don’t show up in these stats.

So, Joey. Please explain to me (and others ?) about the “clicks” versus the “views”. How do you know if someone has viewed a picture or a post, for instance. I would think that the click would be if you wanted the picture full size, or you submitted a comment to a post. But how do you know if I look at a post or a picture and don’t comment or click for a larger view. Just askin!

There’s got to be some way to know how many folks get the feed (I’m one, so scratch one mark on the wall). I confess I don’t always click through to the blog, but I suspect there are a lot of people like me.

Right Jerry, exactly!
There are well over a thousand subscribers who get GMG in their email feed at the end of the day and they are never counted as they may never click through to go to the actual site. But hey it’s nice to know they cared enough to subscribe.
