She just finished her first race in Ipswich this morning.
Great job!

Whether you are a big time contributor or casual observer of GMG I hope you have a fantastic holiday filled with great food, family and FOOTBALL!
I’m thankful for all the acomplishments and community events we’ve been pulling off and the relationships created through the blog. I’m thankful for a healthy beautiful family and I’m really really thankful for a family who embraces football on Thanksgiving!
Thanks for stopping by and being part of this giant snowball that just keeps picking up mass and getting bigger as we roll along. Without you we wouldn’t have much reason to keep plugging away at this thing 🙂
Woot!
What are you thankful for?

Here is the recipe and a (lousy scanned) photo:

INGREDIENTS
1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury® Crescent Recipe Creations® refrigerated
seamless dough sheet
1/3 cup refrigerated black olive tapénade (from 7 oz container)
1 box (9 oz) frozen chopped spinach, thawed, squeezed to drain
1/2 cup crumbled goat (chèvre) cheese
3/4 cup julienne cut sun dried tomatoes in oil, well drained
1 egg
1 teaspoon water
DIRECTIONS
1. Heat oven to 350°F. Unroll dough. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press into 12×9-inch rectangle.
2. Spread tapénade in 3-inch wide strip lengthwise down the center of dough leaving 1-inch edge on both ends. Layer spinach evenly over the tapénade. Top with cheese then layer with tomatoes.
3. With scissors or sharp knife, make diagonal cuts 1 inch apart on long sides of dough rectangle to within 1/2 inch of filling. Alternately cross strips diagonally over filling. Turn ends of braid up and press to seal. In small bowl, beat egg with water. Brush over top of braid.
4. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. To serve, cut into slices.
Thank you all for your support and votes!

From Dave Sag on The Rhumb Line Blues Party
Due to the big turkey day, our blues party will be shifting to Wednesday nite, and as a extra special treat we put together a really hot band featuring Ms. Lisa Marie!! , Forrest Padgett on drumbs, Cliff Spencer on keys, Greg t. on Qatar and myself. But stay away from me: I have a pretty bad cold(cough, cough). Nothing witty this time, just plain, old good music. See ya there!
Tonight @ Cameron’s!
Yesterday I toured the about-to-be opened MAC Fitness facility and got some video for you guys as they put the finishing touches on.
The fitness center is located on Whistlestop Way behind the train station and The Azorean restaurant.
Every single piece of equipment is brand spanking new state of art fitness equipment. Never Used- Never Sweated Upon- Brand New. Individual tvs on the treadmills and stairmasters- this is quite the facility.
Here’s a heads up- They are running a no join up fee program through the end of this month and it’s only going to cost $39 a month to join. The locker rooms have individual shower stalls and wood paneled lockers which are available for daily use or long term rental.
Now I’m going to start going in January once things slow down here at the dock. If you go and join up make sure you mention you heard about it from your boy Joey Ciaramitaro at Good Morning Gloucester. (they’ll tune me up with a small referral fee), it would be much appreciated 🙂
It’s official.
When picking up my mom at the airport for the holidays her and the Bean made a pact to enter Laurie and Sharon’s GMG Holiday Cookie Baking contest on December 3rd.
The Bean just loves to cook with my mother. They both need to have busy hands and love to create so this will be something special for them to do together.
I guess this excludes me from the judging. 🙂
How many of you are planning to enter? How many of you have children in your life and are looking for some actrivity to do together? Well come on down to Browns Mall and enter-
