Well, I’m sitting around the house waiting for the snow to stop and my codpiece to dry, with Weal Of Fortune oozing out of my Elsie D. screen (no sound) and three martinis under my Kuyper belt, biting my toenails and begging for a break.
Rheumer has it that there’s another storm coming on Thursday, but I’m willing to shake my shaman rattle and toss the dicey bones on another outcome: The arrival of Ms. Diane Blue to our stage.Ā OMG, it’s been a while since Miss D., the OctomomĀ® of the blues has been in these parts, and I’m so glad to have her back. Not only that, but she’s bringing along a killer band with some new people to tintinnabulate your eardrums with the latest ghastly sounds.
Firstly, there’s Bobby Gus, a veritable Boston mainstay, on catarrh. First time. Add Joe Bargar, one of my heroes, on keys. Then trip over Mr. Steve Bankuti, who never heard of me, on eggbeaters. First time, too. I’ve been dying to meet and play with these people. I need the thirty bucks. But, seriously, folks, I’m expecting to have a rousing good time waffling through the entire blue spectrum. C’mon out and dance!

Man, I had a great Thanksgiving. I put on 2 pounds, lost my cell phone, and held a detailed argument with myself over adherence to the itmosphere. I found my phone and lost my mind and the argument. Now I’m ready for wellness with the addition of Ms. Lisa Marie to the show Ā tonight. And may I say, I can’t wait! The Divine Miss LM is one of the most beloved and heuristically hot smoking pals i’ve got. I’m talking lineups. She tends to bring out the best in her fans and the worst in my digestion, which is fine with me. Nothing three martinis can’t cure.
She’ll and her compadres will be dropped off by a series of drones supplied by Jeff Beezlebub, late of Amazon. Com. These include a version of Mr. Silvertone Steve, guitarist non pareil, and Mr. Dana Bonardi, goatskin whisker, on bongos. These specimens have just been released from MGH after a thorough investigation into their unusual growth of a third cojĆ³ne.I’Il be in the corner, wearing a full-face respirator, and looking like Vincent Price. Eat lots of garlic.
And, again, for those of you into JelloĀ® and DependsĀ®, I’ll be at the Rose Baker Senior Center next Two Mondays from 1 to 3, with the Good Old salty Jazz Band.you gotta see this. Forget Woodstock; this is more appropriate.

I was wondering if you would be willing to post my fundraising event on Good Morning Gloucester. I am currently training to run the San Diego Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon through Team in Training. Team in Training the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s largest fundraising effort. I have pledged to raise $3000 for them while I train for the marathon on June 5, 2011.
I decided to get involved with Team in Training because I work for a national cancer research group and have met many people who have dedicated their lives to finding cures for cancer. This program is a great opportunity for me to do more for cancer research. Through my work, I have met two Lymphoma survivors who both participated in Team in Training. One has run 14 marathons and the other completed a century ride. I also have two teammates who I am training with who are both celebrating 10 years of remission. These are the people who are motivating me to train and raise money for LLS.
My fundraising event is at JalapeƱos on April 11. They will be donating 10% of the night’s profits (dinner and drinks) to LLS. I will also have great door prizes and a Red Sox Ticket Raffle.
