Mayor Kirk writes-
Homie walked across the wet concrete!
My View of Life on the Dock
You’re not from around here are you? (Weird looking Homies no?)
But the locals are very friendly.

Yes, beverage please.

Rubber Duck is very sad (can’t you tell by that face) that she won’t make it back to the Sunday morning GMG Mug-Up so she is drowning her sorrows. Mostly with drinks with little umbrellas.
January 18 and how many New Year’s Resolutions have you blown off already? Did you last two weeks on your diet? Have you already bought a pack of Winstons? Now is the time baby, crunch time, when the muffin top takes a beating and you resolve to stick to your resolutions in 2012. Why? So that 177 days from now you can get in a boat and paddle your not so fat butt all the way around Cape Ann.
Click here for a BlackBurn Challenge Timer. July 14 is just 177 days away. 25 weeks. Plenty of time. Or I can send Homie over to help you focus.

Rubber Duck and Homie with their very own Lobster Trap Christmas Tree all decorated:

Hey, you try decorating without opposable thumbs!

Rubber Duck: “You just crack yourself up, dontcha Homie? That’s why I stick around.”
How to Goose a Duck.
Or this could be a “Caption This!” What is in the thought bubble over Rubber Duck’s head?
She was absolutely demolishing my wallet but thanks to the Lone Gull, GimmeSound.com and Ed Collard who have stepped up with sponsorship monies the sting is gone! We have pledges to help build from Bro-In Law Barry, Sista Felicia, Ed Collard, Jeremy Frost Construction and the kids. Paulie Walnuts will be printing up the limited run t-Shirts and Greg Harris’ Briarwood Landscaping is providing us with the trailer. I hope to see you all on the parade route or in the parking lot tailgating!
Make sure when you see the GMG Float you give a WOOT! WOOT!
Homie Is Rolling Baby!!!!!
(and he’s bringing some friends along for the ride!)
Please patronize these GMG Approved Community Minded Businesses
gimmesound.com — local live music listings. Find every live music show in Gloucester and Cape Ann — listen to music on-line & download — all for free.
The Lone Gull is a family owned coffeehouse located on Main Street in historic downtown Gloucester, Massachusetts. Our ideal location makes us a great place to stop for a drink or a bite to eat, to chat with friends, or to have a business meeting. We offer free wi-fi to our customers, extremely comfortable couches and chairs, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
I am sure this is a viral marketing video for Go Pro, but wouldn’t it be fun to teach Homie to do this over Gloucester?

April 15, this Thursday, The Rudder opens for the season. I’ve been Jonesin’ for some pan seared monkfish with lemon butter and capers since last fall. Tax Relief Specials. Spring Hours: Open Thursdays to Saturday 5PM.
April 15, this Thursday, is not tax day if you live in Essex county. That rain in March made us a “disaster recovery zone” so taxes are not due until May 11. Woot, off to the Rudder even if the IRS is getting a big check. Mañana.
What if you get a tax refund and you’re thinking maybe you should get something slick to load GMG onto. Don’t you want to see Homie’s tail feathers in glossy high resolution with a high refresh rate? (Really, it wiggles.) Since some people know me as a Mac fanboy I always get the question, “What Mac should I buy?” and my answer is always the same. Go to MacRumors Buyer’s Guide and find out when the new model is coming out. This page will tell you whether to buy now or wait. Say you wanted a MacBook Pro last week. Boy would you have buyer’s remorse if you had not gone to the page. They would have told you “New Models Soon DO NOT BUY!!”
New models for the MacBook Pro came out today. The 13 inch is nice.
